The Poker Room at Palm Beach Kennel Club became the Largest Poker Room in the State of Florida with the addition of the New 2nd Floor Tournament Room on July 1, 2007. In addition, new laws now allow larger multi-table tournaments (up to $800 buy-in); No Limit Hold’em cash games; added or guaranteed tournament payouts, jackpots and promotional. The Poker Room at Palm Beach Kennel Club is the biggest room in the state since they added the second floor tournament area in 2007. Now there are 40 tables on the first floor offering live cash games (located near the main entrance) and 20 tournament only tables on the second floor featuring single and multi-table tournaments with buy-ins up. For the seventh consecutive year, WSOP Circuit will call Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach home from Feb. 9 through Feb. 20.

Palm Beach Kennel Club held WSOPC events Nov. 10-21, making them one of only a few two-time stops on the circuit.

Many poker pros have played circuit events at Palm Beach Kennel Club including Jerry Yang, Greg Raymer, Lee Childs, Chad Brown, Harrison Gimbel, Josh Beckley and more.

“We’re thrilled to be hosting the World Series of Poker Circuit event kicking off our season here at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. We look forward to seeing larger fields in all our events due to our favorable event dates.” said Noah Carbone, card room director at Palm Beach Kennel Club. 'The tournaments have brought people to PBKC from all over the country that hadn’t experienced this facility before, and many were first-time visitors to beautiful Palm Beach County.'

Palm Beach Kennel Club was the first non-casino to earn the right to offer WSOP Circuit events. As of February 2011, it was also the only stop in the state of Florida. Players can also enjoy cash game promotions, live and simulcast racing and the exciting poker games.

From 2011 through November, 2016, Palm Beach Kennel Club has been one of the most successful WSOP Circuit stops. Altogether, 38,299 players have participated in the events. Winnings have reached more than $19.3 million.

The 12 Rings in 12 Days tournament begins with a $365 buy-in NL Hold’em Monster Stack on Feb. 9 and the fan favorite $365 NL Hold’em Re-Entry event Feb. 10-11. The $1,675 Main Event will be on Feb. 18.

Each WSOP Circuit stop Main Event winner will receive an automatic spot into the WSOP Circuit Global Casino Championship. Automatic bids will also go to the “Casino Champion” at each participating venue. A casino champion is defined as the player at each stop who accumulates the most points throughout the 12-event gold ring schedule.
